RSA Authenticate app will reach its published End of Primary Support (EOPS) on March 31, 2024.
All customers and users are strongly encouraged to migrate to RSA's newest app, RSA Authenticator app V4.3 for iOS and Android, available on both iOS and Android app stores.
RSA Authenticator app supports all features of the RSA Authenticate app, and new advanced authentication features, such as QR Code Authentication, and Code Matching for Approve Notification.
User Migration Steps

• RSA Authenticate app and RSA Authenticator app are different applications. Users of RSA Authenticate app must therefore install the RSA Authenticator app and migrate their credentials.
• The specific migration feature is available from Authenticator V4.2 (released in January 2023), as indicated here:  Migrating from RSA Authenticate App to SecurID Authenticator App
• Updated migration information was provided with the release of Authenticator V4.3 (September 2023): Time to Act: Migration Required from RSA Authenticate App to RSA Authenticator App

What Will Happen After March 31, 2024?

• RSA Authenticate app will remain functional, and existing users will continue to be able to authenticate.
• However:
  • RSA Authenticate app will no longer be supported and will not be qualified on future versions of iOS and Android OS.
  • RSA Authenticate app will no longer be available for download from iOS and Android app stores.
  • From RSA Cloud Authentication Service April release onward:
    • Users will no longer be able to register a newly installed RSA Authenticate app with RSA Cloud Authentication Service. They will need to use RSA Authenticator app.
    • For any Cloud Authentication Service where the use of RSA Authenticate app was enabled:
      • RSA will automatically disable the use of RSA Authenticate app.
      • RSA will automatically enable the use of RSA Authenticator app.
