An RSA Authentication Manager 8.2 SP1 patch 6 Web Tier reinstall on Windows fails with the following errors:

Check the Clone Logs Errors located in C:\Webtier\install_logs  The file name will be similar to CLONE2017-12-05_11-43-09_2043453127.log, with a timestamp value based on when the log is created.

Cause
This error is generated if the Oracle directory was deleted by mistake or the directory is corrupted, possibly due to an Uninstall failure.
Resolution
The issue is related to Oracle Home, so please confirm the following:
  1. If the Oracle home directory (C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\ContentsXML) exists, please do the following:
    1. Inside the Webtier directory, run the uninstall again as the administrator.
    2. Delete any remaining Webtier directories, ensuring that there is nothing under \Program Files\RSA Security
    3. Please refer to knowledge article 000031079 - RSA Authentication Manager 8.x web tier status shows "Online, Reinstall Required" even after reinstalling with the new SP1 Patch 2 package  for any help with the uninstall and directory deletion process.
    4. With everything cleaned out, and the proper Oracle Home directory in place, run the Install files as an Administrator.
  2. If you do not find the Oracle directory, please create it in C:\Program Files\ so that Oracle\Inventory\ContentsXML exists under C:\Program Files
