Summary:

The latest supported BIOS, iDRAC, and PERC firmware versions for Dell R620/R720 and Dell R630/R730 appliances are available to download and apply. To obtain the latest security fixes and firmware enhancements, RSA strongly recommends updating systems with the updates provided below.

RSA has qualified these firmware versions and have verified it will NOT affect operation of the RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle hardware appliance servers once applied. Reboot is required after applying iDRAC and BIOS updates.

Troubleshooting:

If the update fails in any way, it is possible that the update is hung and the iDRAC needs to clear the job. In order to do this, the flea power will need to be drained and the iDRAC will be rebooted. Physical access to the appliance is required.

      This will not reset any configuration settings that are stored in the iDRAC.

Drain the flea power for the iDRAC
1. Power down the appliance
2. Remove both of the power cords from the rear of the appliance and wait for 30 seconds
3. Plug the power cords back into the appliance
4. The appliance should boot automatically. If not, press the power button on the front of the appliance
