TextMagic - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate SecurID Access with TextMagic using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to TextMagic.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the SecurID Access Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

  2. In search box search for TextMagic then click on Add.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. TextMagic Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Connection Profile page.

      1. Choose IDP-Initiated.

    1. In Connection URL field enter the Single Sign-on URL from the TextMagic configuration. (optional)
    2. Note and copy the Identity Provider URL. This value is automatically generated. This will be needed later for the configuration of TextMagic.

    3. For the Issuer Entity ID select Override and copy the Identity Provider URL value here. For example, https://portal.ssotest.my.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=9nfo7bii265b.

    4. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download .

    5. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

    6. Select Choose File and upload the cert from the generated certificate bundle.

    7. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion.

    8. Scroll down to Service Provider section.

    9. For the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) Enter the value for the Single Sign-on URL found in the TextMagic SAML Integration settings for Single Sign-On documentation. The URL is currently defined as https://my.textmagic.com/saml/acs.

    10. For the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) Enter the value for the SP Entity ID found in the TextMagic SAML Integration settings for Single Sign-On documentation. The URL is currently defined as https://my.textmagic.com/saml/metadata.

    11. Scroll down to User Identity section.

    12. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.

    13. Expand Advanced Configuration

    14. Be sure the Attributes FirstName and LastName are set to the correct Properties for your configuration.

    15. Click Next Step.

  5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step.

  6. On Portal Display Page.

    1. Select Display in Portal.

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish.

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish.

  7. For this new Connector, click on the down arrow next to the Edit button and Export Metadata to save off the IDP metadata information for configuration of TextMagic.

  8. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure TextMagic

Perform these steps to integrate TextMagic as an SSO Agent SAML SP to SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service.

Procedure

  1. Sign into TextMagic and select  Account and then Account Settings .

  2. Select Single Sign-On (SSO) tab.

  3. Click on Add SAML details button.

  4. For Identity provider Entity ID copy the Identity Provider URL from the above in the SecurID CAS configuration. For example, https://portal.ssotest.my.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=9nfo7bii265b.

  5. For Identity provider SSO URL copy the Identity Provider URL from the above in the SecurID CAS configuration. For example, https://portal.ssotest.my.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=9nfo7bii265b.

  6. For Public x509 Certificate copy and paste the contents of the certificate saved above in the SecurID CAS configuration. This is the cert.pem from the downloaded certificate bundle from the SecurID Access CAS configuration above.

  7. Select the Log in options. Suggest SSO and TextMagic password until confident in SSO configuration.

  8. Click on Save.

Configuration is complete.
