Where are the drivers for the SCR301 and SCR201 Smart Card readers?

Please contact RSA Security Technical Support and request drivers for the SCR301USB Smart Card reader. The drivers for Smart Card reader SCR301USB with RSA Security logo also can be downloaded from the following URL: http://www.scmmicro.com/corporate/support.html

Installing the drivers:
The installation procedure for Windows 95, 98, and 2000 remains the same.

1. The .ZIP file for Windows 2000 and XP contains 3 files, stcusb.inf, stcusb.sys, stcusb.cat, and must be extracted to a folder prior to installation. Right click on the stcusb.inf file and click on install. Reboot the Windows 2000 machine. The .ZIP file for Windows 95, 98, and ME contains 2 files, stcusb.inf and stcusb.sys.

2. Drivers also can be installed by performing the following steps:
a. Connect the Smart Card Reader
b. My Computer --> Right click on Properties --> Hardware --> Device manager --> Smart Card readers --> Driver --> Update Drivers
