Issue
After installing RSA SecurID Passage on a Windows XP system running the Cisco Aironet wireless connection software, the host PC or laptop is no longer able to connect with the Cisco wireless access point using the Aironet Software (LEAP)
Cause
During the final part of the installation, Passage will check if it's been configured to use the Passage Logon facility or not. If it has, it will update the logon GINA entry in the Registry to use the RSA Passage GINA DLL. If the option to use Passage logon was not selected, it will still update the registry with the location of the default Microsoft GINA library.
Cisco Aironet software will install its own GINA version which chains down to the Microsoft GINA. If this reference is removed, the Cisco software will fail to work as expected.
Resolution
When installing Passage to hosts where the Cisco Aironet software is to be used, you must select the custom install option in the Installer, and deselect the option to install the Passage Logon module.
NOTE: The GINA provided in Passage 3.5.1 does not support chaining
