How to use RSA SecurID protection with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) servers managed by Microsoft Application Center 2000
The new RSA SecurID protected site deployed to all managed servers is not SecurID protected on those managed servers. Furthermore, when trying to access the RSA SecurID tab on one of those managed servers, an error appears stating "accessing the meta base failed with error 800CC801".
Resolution
When a new server with RSA SecurID protection is created and deployed with Microsoft Application Center, you must perform the following steps on all synchronized servers:

1. Stop the WWW service

2. From a command line, run:   schemaupdate.exe /r

3. From a command line, run:   schemaupdate.exe /u

4. Start the WWW service

RSA Authentication Agent 5.3 for Web for Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is loaded on all managed web servers. A new site is created on the main server and is protected by RSA SecurID. This new site is deployed to all servers managed by Microsoft Application Center 2000.
