Root signing issue - Internet explorer 7 un-patched clients do not recognize the ValiCert Root CA

Issue
ValiCert Root CA not listed in IE 7 browser on Windows Vista
Resolution
In early versions of IE 7.0 ( IExplorer 7.0.6001.18000 Updateversion: 0 & IExplorer 7.0.6000.16386 Updateversion: 0 ) do not have the ValiCert Root CA embedded in the browser. If a user goes to a web site where the SSL certificate is chained to the ValiCert Root CA, IE will automatically install without user intervention the root as part of the MS root update process.
