Form control type "Drop Down Select with Web Services" does not support backslash in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle

Issue
RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle Form control type Drop Down Select with Web Services does not return a correct result if the WebService returns values that contain embedded backslashes. The backslash character ( / ) is common in DN values returned by Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user DNs where the backslash is used to escape embedded commas ( , ).  Instead of returning the result with the comma escaped by a backslash, the comma is returned un-escaped. 

The correct result should look like what is seen in the following example:

Instead the dropdown displays the value with the comma un-escaped.

Cause
This issue occurs due to a problem decoding escaped backslashes in the WebService result. 
Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following patches.
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.0 P06
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1 P01
