event explorer terminated immediately once you start, and you see error UnsupportedEncodingException when running adjustHeapsize.cmd.
The error you see while running adjustHeapSize.cmd would be
java.lang.Error: java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException: MS950
Cause
Resolution
Change the regional settings to English to
1. Open control -> regional and language options
2. In Regional optiosn tab, standards and formats, select English (Australia) or English (USA)
3. In location, change to Australia or USA
4. Click OK
Now you should able to start event explorer
