Issue
Need to merge audit logs created prior to recent config update of adapters
Cause
During the process of fixing issue, customer had to manually move audit logs from Adapter to AM.
Need assistance on merging logs.
Resolution
- Take two folders as input i.e. Repository folder and Backup folder
- Identify files with same date in both folders
- Compare each record in all files ( .log, .ams, .part, .ams1 or .part1 and etc) with same date and provide a final .log file with the date in another folder
- Can manually copy/overwrite the file in Repository.
Note: - If sizes are same for multiple files with same date, then tool will compare the hash of those files and take only required file(s) for further comparison
