Skeddly - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate SecurID Access with Skeddly using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to Skeddly.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the SecurID Access Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

  2. Search for Skeddlyand click on +Add.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. Skeddly Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Connection Profile page.

    1. In Connection URL field, verify the default setting.

    2. Choose IDP-Initiated.

    3. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

    4. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. This values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of Skeddly.

    5. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download .

    6. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

    7. Select Choose File and upload the cert from the generated certificate bundle.

    8. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion .

    9. Scroll down to Service Provider section.

    10. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) from the location identified in the Skeddly configuration below. For example: https://app.skeddly.com/sso/saml/.

    11. Enter the Audience (Service Provider Entity ID) from the entityID identified in the Skeddly configuration below. For example: https://app.skeddly.com/.

    12. Scroll down to User Identity section .

    13. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.

    14. Click Next Step.

  5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step.

  6. On Portal Display Page

    1. Select Display in Portal.

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish.

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish.

  7. Browse to Application > My Applications .

  8. Locate newly create application for Skeddly

  9. Click on Down Arrow next to Edit button

  10. Select Export Metadata data. This will be used below for Skeddly configuration.

  11. Edit the newly created Skeddly application.

  12. Go to the Connection Profile section.

  13. Exapnd the Show Advanced Configuration.

  14. Add a new Attribute extension.

    1. Attribute Source = Constant

    2. Attribute Name = https://skeddly.com/SAML/Attributes/Roles

    3. Property = Comma seperated SRNs from the Skeddly configuration below. ProviderSRN,PolicySRN. For example, srn:skeddly:idp::6817f979:IDR, srn:skeddly:policy:::standard.

  15. Click on Save and Finish.

  16. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure Skeddly

Perform these steps to integrate Skeddly with SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into Skeddly and browse to Users and Identity > Identity ProvidersCreate Identity Provider.

  2. Enter a value for Name.

  3. Set the Provider Type to SAML.

  4. Click on the link for skeddly-metadata.xml.

  5. Note in the xml the value for entityID .This is used above in the SecurID Access Cloud Authenitcation Service (CAS) configuration above.

  6. Note in the xml the value for location in the <AssertionConsumerService> tag. This is used above in the SecurID Access Cloud Authenitcation Service (CAS) configuration above.

  7. Click on Select Your Metadata File and up load the Identity Provider Metadata file exported from the SecurID Access Cloud Authenitcation Service (CAS) configuration.

  8. Create the Identity Provider.

  9. Copy the Provider SRN and save the value.
  10. Navigate to Users and IdentityManage Policies and select Standard policy.
  11. Copy the Policy SRN and save the value.
  12. Select Save Settings.

Configuration is complete.
