Issue
The RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle Rules Pre-processing event may be scheduled to occur twice during a collection cycle (Admin > Monitoring) if the rule is triggered to run after identity unification (Rules > Definitions > {Rule name} > Edit > Triggered: Run after identity unification).
Cause
This is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-106007.
Rules Pre-processing is always done after collections. If the Rule is also triggered to run after identity unification, it may end up being scheduled twice. This additional Pre-processing Rule run is not required and extends the collection time unnecessarily as jobs need to wait in the queue until the redundant Pre-processing task has completed.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.2.0 P03.
