Issue

RAC - "runas /smartcard" broken after install of SCM 3.0.1 over uninstalled RAC
"runas /smartcard" fails after upgrading from RAU/RAC to RSA Middleware 3.0.1 or RAC 3.5
All other smart card specific operation succeeds but "runas /smartcard" fails

Resolution

Add or edit the following DWORD registry key, and set the value to 1 :

DWORD \\HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\ScCertProip\Enabled

Workaround

Previously using RAU or RAC 2.0.x which was uninstalled, and Smart Card Middleware 3.0.1 or RSA Authentication Client 3.5 was installed
