Issue
When a review is run directly, no results are generated for these users and the user filter popup does not retain the users when going back into view or edit the review.
When a review is generated from a User Attribute Change Rule, no results are generated for these users.
EXAMPLE
Below is an example of a review definition that includes a user whose first name is TestWoLName and who has no last name. When the review is run, no review results are generated for this user. When editing the review definition and looking at the User Selection tab, the user's name can still be seen under Include users with the following attributes but when the link is selected, the popup does not retain that user. Note Include the following users is set to none. This is only true for users who have no last name.
This is normally just an issue in test environments where test data is created with users that have no last names.
Cause
Resolution
Workaround
- For each affected user, add a last name in the data source.
- Run the relevant Identity Collector.
- Run unification.
- Edit the review definition and make sure the user selection criteria is still defined to select the affected users.
- Re-run the review.
