SecurID: RSA ACE/Server (Authentication Manager) is not running

RSA ACE/Server.
Issue
RSA ACE/Server is not running.
Authentication is failing.
Cannot communicate with RSA ACE/Server.
All clients cannot authenticate.
Cause
RSA ACE/Server authentication engine is not running.
Resolution
To correct this issue, start the RSA ACE/Server processes using the steps below (for Microsoft Windows):
1. Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> RSA/ACE Server (with v6.1, choose Start --> All Programs --> RSA Security --> RSA Authentication Manager Control Panel --> Start/Stop RSA Auth Mgr Services).
2. Click "Start" (with v6.1, choose "Start All".
3. Optionally check the box to start the services automatically after a reboot.
4. Exit.
5. Verify authentication.
NOTE: The ACE/Server processes are not configured to start automatically during an initial installation.
