We haven't really used escalations much up to this point. We would like to start implementing escalations on approval nodes to send reminder emails for approvals that are overdue. However, it appears that you can only set up escalations as fixed X days before/after due date.
Is there a way to set up an escalation to be something like "Run every 1 days after due date" or something similar?
Alternatively, is there a better way besides escalations to send approval reminder emails on a reoccurring basis?
short answer, no. as far as I know.
however, to me this is more of a process area rather than a technical one.
If you configured reminders (to be sent before the due date) and few reminders after the due date, and the request has not been actioned yet, does it make sense to continue sending additional ones?
