Deputy - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - RSA Ready SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate RSA SecurID Access with Deputy using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to Deputy.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the RSA Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

  2. Search for Deputy and Click on Add.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. Deputy Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Connection Profile page.

    1. In Connection URL field, verify the default setting.

    2. Choose IDP-Initiated .

    3. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

    4. Note the Identity Provider URL. This value is automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of Deputy.

    5. For Issuer Entity ID click on Override and copy and paste the value of the Identity Provider URL.

    6. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download .

    7. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

    8. Select Choose File and upload the cert from the generated certificate bundle.

    9. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion .

    10. Scroll down to Service Provider section.

    11. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) The URL is based on your account number. Enter the value based on your account number. For example: https://409f8303093122.as.deputy.com/exec/devapp/samlacs.

    12. Enter the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) Is the domain base login for your Deputy account. For example: https//409f8303093122.as.deputy.com.

    13. Scroll down to User Identity section .

    14. Ensure Identifier Type = Unspecified, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.

    15. Click Next Step.

  5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step.

  6. On Portal Display Page

    1. Select Display in Portal.

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish.

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish.

  7. Browse to Application > My Applications .

  8. Locate newly create application for Deputy

  9. Click on Down Arrow next to Edit button

  10. Select Export Metadata data. This will be used below for Deputy configuration.

  11. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure Deputy

Perform these steps to integrate Deputy with RSA SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into Deputy.

  2. Navigate to the Business Settings and click on the Single Sign On Settings.

  3. For the IDP Login URL enter the Identity Provider URL above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=1uaoqbsphit2y.

  4. For the IDP Issuer enter the Identity Provider URL above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=1uaoqbsphit2y.

  5. In the X.509 Certificate field, use the contents of the metadata XML file downloaded above and copy the X.509 certification information between the tags <ds:X509Certificate></ds:X509Certificate> and paste it in the IDP Certificate field.

  6. Click on Apply Changes.

Configuration is complete.
