Patching Order of Operations

I am reviewing the Patch Installation Guide 7.5.2 in preparation for applying
7.5.2 P8 and am a little confused on the order of operations in regards to the
GL patch and the JDK upgrade.

I _think_ the order of operations is:

* Stop GL & AFX
* Upgrade JDK (upgradeJDK.sh)
* Start GL & AFX
* Install patch (patch.sh)
* Import AFX connector packages

Is above correct? Do you not need to stop GL & AFX before running the patch
script?

There's no dependency or requirement to apply the Oracle database updater
prior to patching G&L application. So, you can choose to apply the updater
before or after applying the G&L patch.

For a Wildfly cluster with two nodes, do you need to just run the JDK upgrade on both nodes or is it like the patch where you just do it on the Domain Controller and the Host Controller gets it once you start it up? Thanks.

JDK upgrade is done outside of the WildFly/application patching, so you would need to upgrade JDK on each node separately. For more information on applying G&L patches, refer to the Patch Installation Guide:
