s_dchakr (Customer) asked a question.
the RSA Authentication Security Console admin is currently locked. however, the password to the Operations console Admin is unknown. the only use that is known is the rsaadmin OS user.
is there a way I can restore the passwords of both the security Console admin and the Operations console admin in this RSA Authentication server?
Pretty sure you just use another Security Console admin acct to recover superadmin? acct?
ocadmin you'd follow this doc-been there done that.
How to recover when RSA Authentication Manager 8.x system passwords are not known or are lost | RSA Community
I cannot create another Security Console Admin account as that requires the ocadmin password, which is unknown. in order to reset the ocadmin password with the web GUI, I'd have to log into the security console
Is this part of that link that I shared not what you're looking for?
Should be the builtin superadmin acct or frankly...any SC SuperAdmin role admin.
To change an Operations Console administrator's password
A super admin can reset the password for an existing Operations Console administrator or create a new Operations Console administrator through the Security Console.
we only have one sc super admin account and its the built in one. thats the account currently locked
Do you truly not have any other delegated accts in SuperAdmin role that you can leverage, instead?

To create a temporary super admin user
8. Now launch the Security Console and login as tempadmin with the password defined in step 4. WIth access to the Security Console, this temp admin can change the password for another super admin that might have been locked out of the console.
