Squadcast - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate SecurID Access with Squadcast using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure SecurID Cloud Authentication Service (CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to Squadcast.

Procedure

    1. Sign into the Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

    2. Click on +Create From Template.

    3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. Squadcast Then click on Next Step.

    4. On Connection Profile page.

        1. Choose IDP-Initiated .

        1. In Connection URL field leave the default value.

        2. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

        3. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of Squadcast.

        4. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download

        5. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle

        6. Select Choose File and upload the cert.pem from the generated certificate bundle.

        7. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion

          Scroll down to Service Provider section

        2. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS), enter the ACS from Squadcast configuration. For example, https://auth.squadcast.com/sso/saml/eb071e90-ec17-437b-9d0b-6c297da050b9.

        3. Enter the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) enter the ACS from Squadcast configuration.For example, https://auth.squadcast.com/sso/saml/eb071e90-ec17-437b-9d0b-6c297da050b9.

          Scroll down to User Identity section

        2. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail

        Expand the Show Advanced Configuration.

      2. In the Attribute Extensions add the following attributes based on the defaults defined in Squadcast configuration.

      3. Click on +Add.

      4. Add Attribute Name = email, Property = mail.

      5. Click on +Add.

      6. Add Attribute Name = first_name, Property = givenName.

      7. Click on +Add.

      8. Add Attribute Name = last_name, Property = sn.

      9. Note the property values may be different in your configuration.

      10. Click Next Step

    5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step

    1. On Portal Display Page

      1. Select Display in Portal

      2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish

      3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

      4. Click on Save and Finish.

    2. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure Squadcast

Perform these steps to integrate Squadcast with SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into Squadcast as Admin and select Extensions tab.

  2. Click on Integrate under the SSO tab.

  3. Be sure to note the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) for your Squadcast instance to be used above.

  4. Enable Enable Single Sign-on(SSO).

  5. Select Custom SAML 2.0.

  6. For the SAML 2.0 Endpoint field enter the value for the Identity Provider URL obtained above. For example, https://portal.ssotest.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=zhelloewhj1o8yx

  7. For the X.509 Certificate paste the contents of the cert.pem file created in the certificate bundle in the RSA Cloud Authentication Service (CAS) above.

  8. Under Allow account owners or Admins to use Email-login check the Account Owners.

  9. Click on Save.

Configuration is complete.
