Issue
This article explains how to customize the redirect page that FIM 3.0 and FIM 3.1.1 display to the user.

The user sees the message:

Please wait while you are redirected to your destination.
Cause
This page may be displayed to end users as a SAML message is passed via the browser between FIM (SAML) servers using Browser Post Profile technology.  See the SAML Implementation Guidelines for more information on Browser Post Profiles.
Resolution
On a default configuration using a Browser Post Profile (BPP); this content is managed within the SSOServlets.war, LogoutServlets.war and ManageNameIDServlets.war in the PostBinding.jsp.

Some of the other customizable pages are listed from page 135 in the FIM 3.0 Installation and Configuration Guide and 145 of the FIM 3.1 Installation and Configuration Guide.  The PostBinding.jsp page is not specifically listed however provided the actual mechanics of the page are left alone the look and feel are open to customization and manipulation.  Much of the mechanics of the page are there for the requirements of carrying out a successful BPP transaction and if they are altered then obviously the BPP process could break.  Additional information on customization may also be found in the appropriate developer documentation.

If problems occur when using pages which have been customized then please ensure that you have put back the default pages and that your problem still occurs with the default, supplied, pages before contacting RSA Customer Support.

A variety of manuals are referenced in this solution, copies are supplied with the software and online copies are available through RSA Link.
