Issue
XudaKeyAndCertificateWriteToFile() function is very slow on Solaris
XudaKeyAndCertificateWriteToFile() function demonstrated in the  PKCS12WriteToFile sample code takes 10 seconds to complete on Solaris
XudaKeyAndCertificateWriteToFile() function demonstrated in the  PKCS12WriteToFile sample code takes under 1 second to complete on Windows 2000
Cause
Underlying functions from libraries used to build the Keon Certificate Authority API have been identified as causing the slow performance seen in the KCA API
Resolution
A replacement copy of libxuda.a has been built with replacement versions of the underlying libraries. Performance of the Solaris code is now comparable to the performance seen on Windows 2000.

This is available as a patch from RSA Security Customer Support under reference tst00040300. This is a replacement of libxuda.a which will require a re-link of any applications built for Solaris exhibiting the problem.
